Ebooks: Libraries at the Tipping Point

Lots of food for thought today at the "Virtual Summit"on ebooks and libraries. Put on by Library Journal and School Library Journal, I listened to the summit today while followed the commentary on twitter (#ebooksummit).

I'll agree with a lot of the tweets--I wonder why there are so many vendors presenting and so much corporate integration into our discussions of ebooks, and librarianship overall. As of this posting (3:30pm approximately), I was most impressed with Barbara Fister's thoughts from this morning, and also mention of a Library User eContent Bill of Rights (which I can't find any links for?)--I hope that those librarians working on this have been in touch with the techies who have been working long and hard on these issues!
